Jill Fetell, M.D., C.C.N., C.A.c.
Medical Director of Tarrytown Functional Medicine
Dr. Fetelll practices Dermatology, Functional Medicine, Metabolic testing, Clinical Nutrition, Acupuncture, and Weight Loss and Detoxification as part of a total program to help people build health and prevent illness. As a Functional Medicine doctor she specializes in helping patients with various chronic health conditions such as hormonal imbalances, autoimmune diseases, digestive issues, allergies, immune dysfunction, chronic pain and inflammation, and complex symptoms which are not medically diagnosed. She deals with complex health issues some of which have been untreatable and undiagnosed by conventional medicine. She merges Conventional, Integrative and Chinese Medicine to bring balance to the whole-body systems. Dr. Fetell also incorporates Chinese tongue diagnosis to see which system of the body is most stressed and where to start the healing journey.
Dr. Fetell is also a Certified Acupuncturist and see patients for chronic pain, anxiety and stress management. Many of her Functional Medicine patients find additional relief and enhanced healing by adding acupuncture to their program. Often Dr. Fetell emphasizes treating pain as a priority alongside any Functional Medicine and Nutritional protocols.
Dr. Fetell does general dermatology with an integrative approach. The skin is the largest detoxification organ of the body and reflects the health of your whole body. The skin in combination with your hair and nails are more than just a reflection of beauty, they are a reflection of your whole body’s health. As an integrative approach she combines conventional medications with natural remedies such as diet, supplements, herbs and topical products.
Dr. Fetell has 35 years’ experience as a Dermatologist and General Practitioner and has worked in Manhattan at HIP, Council’s Ambulatory Health Care Center, and on Central Park West in New City before opening Tarrytown Functional Medicine in 2000. She was also Medical Director at Integrated Medical Care, a physical therapy and acupuncture facility in West Nyack, New York for 10 years. There she evaluated patients for physical therapy and acupuncture and oversaw their treatment plans.
Dr. Fetell received her M.D. from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and did her Dermatology training at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. She was certified in Acupuncture at New York Medical College in 1999 and in Clinical Nutrition by the American Board of Clinical Nutritionists in 2000.

Lorraine Schorr, MSW
Clinical Social Worker and Psychoanalyst
I am a highly experienced, analytically trained licensed psychotherapist and certified clinical hypnotherapist with counseling offices in Tarrytown, NY and Pomona, NY. I work with adults who are seeking help with emotional stress and relationship issues, as well as symptoms of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief and alienation.
All of us have individual stories which we live with. Some stories have developed over a lifetime, others are the result of a recent event. Together we figure out the best approach to overcome the obstacles and self-limiting beliefs within these stories so that you can achieve your goals and feel fulfilled, more whole, creative and less stuck.
I work within an integrative framework which includes developmental, relational, cognitive and psychoanalytically informed psychotherapy. I work with individuals, couples and mother-daughter dyads. Psychotherapy is a very skilled and focused process. It is more than talking with a well meaning friend or concerned family member. My thirty years of training and experience have led me to believe in the value of my emotional connection to my patients. I believe the healing takes place in what we mutually reconstruct both in repeating and reworking our experience together.
Lorraine Schorr received her education from Rutgers University, BA. She is a graduate of Fordham University School of Social Work, MSW, Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy, and Couples therapy Program. She received multiple certifications: Westchester Center Mindfulness Based Stress, Reduction, Clinical Hypnotherapy, American Society for Clinical Hypnosis. Lorraine Schorr has specialities in Individuals and couples, parent-child dyads. She has a NY State License.
